Traditional Bluetooth RSSI systems apply a basic signal model and suffer from the positioning variability that produces, limiting their practical use.
Angle of Arrival (AoA) and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) systems apply more complex models and get better accuracy, but need expensive fixed hardware and infrastructre that does not cope well with environmental change.

Accuracy.
~ 2 to 5 metre indoor fixes on commodity BLE, across the whole floor and not just the easy spots. Good enough to practically eliminate the 'where is it?' problem for people and assets, and to reliably trigger zone-based automations.
Stability.
Stationary tags settle to one point on the map and stay there, and updates fire when assets move rather than every time the radio chats. This makes the map more useful and less noisy, and means you can reliably trigger automations on movement without false positives.
Adaptability.
The engine retunes itself in the background as the environment changes, so the map keeps its accuracy in situations where other positioning systms would degrade: moving a rack of stock, adding a new piece of machinery, changing the layout of a workspace.
Efficiency.
Data transport requirements are low enough to run on battery powered tags with multi-year life. Backhaul over Wi-Fi or LoRaWAN rather than expensive wired connections removes complex facility modifications.
A fraction of the cost of AoA or UWB.
AoA needs specialised antenna-array locators and careful survey work. UWB needs synchronised anchors and dedicated cabling. Both are dense, expensive and slow to install.
